Vicki O'Dell is a freelance writer and designer with over two decades years experience in businesses, design and writing. Whether it is sewing, designing jewelry or baking a loaf of bread she believes in embracing creativity, learning something new every day and sharing that knowledge when she can.

Experience
Vicki is a certified floral designer and self-taught interior designer, she has designed sets, props and room makeovers for television shows on PBS, HGTV, DIY Network and more. She has also appeared on several television shows sharing jewelry, mixed media and craft projects with viewers.
In early 2013, after her husband lost his job, they set out together to discover how to live more creative and fulling lives doing work for themselves that made them happy.
She is also a teacher and enjoys traveling and teaching classes in beading, jewelry making and mixed media.
Vicki is a designer member of the Craft and Hobby Association, Board member of the CHA Social Media Section and member of NABA, the North American Bead Association. She is also the vice president of the local art guild.
Education
Vicki received an Associate of Arts in art and art studies from Clovis Community College. She's also certified in floral design from the University of Akron.
