Starting with her own blog and Etsy shop, Mollie began the process of crafting professionally. She eventually started contributing to craft books, magazines, and blogs, including three years of writing for The Spruce Crafts. Her work regularly appears in magazines like Simply Sewing, Mollie Makes, Australian Homespun, and on Handmade Charlotte.
In addition to her published works, Mollie designs and sells embroidery patterns and stitching projects, and has taught several online embroidery courses.
Education
Self- and family-taught in most crafting media, Mollie is constantly learning and trying new techniques to better herself. She holds an associate's degree in graphic design from Elgin Community College, which she regularly uses as she creates new patterns and projects.
