Supplies Needed to Create Vintage Flower Scrapbook Page Embellishments
You can create your own unique, vintage flower embellishments for your next scrapbook page using supplies you most likely already own. To get started you will need:

- flower punch (shown here 2” circle scallop from EK Success)
- brown ink pad (Quick Quotes Chalk Ink in Mocha shown here)
- mouse pad
- push pin
- a brad

Create Vintage Flower Scrapbook Embellishments - Punch and Ink Your Flowers
Punch 6 scalloped circles from pages of an old book. Use a brown ink pad to ink the top side of each circle.Continue to 3 of 7 below.

Create Vintage Flower Scrapbook Embellishments - Cut the Petals
After the flowers have been inked, use scissors to cut between each petal. Be very careful that you do not cut all the way to the center or cut a petal off of the flowers.Continue to 4 of 7 below.

Create Vintage Flower Scrapbook Embellishments - Poke Hole for the Brad
Flip your mouse pad over and use it as a foam mat. Stack all of the flowers on the mouse pad and use the push pin to poke a hole in the middle of the stack. Hold the stack carefully in place as you remove the push pin and then insert the brad.Continue to 5 of 7 below.

Create Vintage Flower Scrapbook Embellishments - Curl Up the Petals
Gently curl up the ends of all of the petals so that the flower has more dimension and lift. You can "scrunch" each petal a bit also to give it more texture. Be gentle with the petals so that you do not tear any of them off of the flower.Continue to 6 of 7 below.

To create a variety of sizes and shapes of flowers you can use different size flower punches. For the smallest flower in the photo, we've layered two sizes of the same shape. You can combine shapes for an even more unique variety of flowers.Continue to 7 of 7 below.
