Flower (Iris) Balloon Animal - Intro
This is a flower balloon animal that resembles an Iris. It's not difficult to learn and make and is probably the easiest of the flower balloon animals.
Two 260 Balloons. You can use any color balloon for the petals - but I think that pink or purple look the best - and will probably want to use a green balloon for the stem.

Flower (Iris) Balloon Animal - Inflate the Balloon
We'll begin with the iris flower itself.
Inflate a balloon to about two inches from the end and tie it off.Continue to 3 of 10 below.

Flower (Iris) Balloon Animal - Begin the PetalsTie the knot end of the balloon to the other end of the balloon to form a loop.Continue to 4 of 10 below.

First of all, in the picture, the "closed" end of the folded "bowtie" is towards the left and the "open" end of the "bowtie" is to the right. The dashed line represents the point where you twist the balloon.

Now you have to make the stem. Inflate the green balloon to about an inch from the end.Continue to 9 of 10 below.

Flower (Iris) Balloon Animal - Finish the Stem and Flower
Make a second fold twist at the same location as the first "leaf."
While holding the knotted end of the green balloon, insert it into the bottom center axis of petals. You're attaching the stem to the flower. Straighten out the petals to finish your balloon flower.
