Introduction to a Fast Flower Balloon Animal
If you already know how to make a basic flower balloon animal, here’s how the pros quickly make the petal portion of a flower balloon. Note that this technique is an advanced one that requires lots of practice and considerable hand strength.
- One 260 Balloon.
I’m only going to teach how to make the petals of the flower balloon animal here. I’ll assume that you already know how to make the stem out of a green balloon, as explained with the basic flower balloon.Continue to 2 of 9 below.

Inflate the Balloon
Inflate the 260 balloon leaving at least a one-inch tip.Continue to 3 of 9 below.

Create a Loop
Tie the nozzle to the end of the balloon, creating a loop.Continue to 4 of 9 below.

Make the First Twist
Holding the loop in half, twist the top third of the loop.Continue to 5 of 9 below.

Create a Second Twist
Make another twist at the two-thirds mark.Continue to 6 of 9 below.

Fold the Segments on Top of Each Other
Fold the twisted portions of the balloons on top of each other.Continue to 7 of 9 below.

Create the Petals
Holding the balloon in your left hand as shown on the previous page, use both hands to compress the balloon, which causes it to fold into six petals.
Note that you are compressing the balloon so each balloon segment folds in half.Continue to 8 of 9 below.

Make the Final Twist to Form the Petals of a Flower Balloon Animal
Twist the balloon in the middle to form the petals.Continue to 9 of 9 below.

You'll have a six-petaled flower balloon. Now all you have to do is add the stem.
