Jessica Wrubel has been educating on health and wellness topics for over 15 years in and outside of the classroom. She is a current middle school health teacher, former journalist and proud apartment DIY-er. Prior to joining Dotdash, Jessica photographed and wrote entertainment, wellness and food articles and round-ups for CT-area publications and websites, designed and implemented craft and cooking programs for kids at local libraries as well as worked for trade publications and local weekly papers. As a teacher, her focus is on holistic wellness and she has organized and coordinated social media, mindfulness, drug awareness, sexual health, and nutrition speakers and programs for middle school students in several states.


Jessica received a BS in Journalism with a minor in Nutrition and an MA in School Health Education from Southern Connecticut State University.
