Janet Wickell is a former Spruce writer who contributed 378 articles over the course of more than ten years. She is the author of the Rodale book "Classic American Quilts: Stars" and was the sole freelance writer for seven other Rodale quilting books. Janet also wrote "Quick Little Quilts," a book that focused on miniature quilts and wallhangings. She authored "Easy-to-Make Dollhouse Quilts," a collection of foundation pieced minis, "Teach Yourself Quilting," a reference for beginning to experienced quilters, and "The About.com Guide to Quilting." She has contributed to dozens of other books and patterns as both a writer and editor.
