    Crochet a Market Tote

Crocheted Dots and Dashes Market Bag With Flowers and Bread Sticking Out
    Mollie Johanson

Carry your shopping and other essentials in style in this easy and fun to crochet market bag. The free pattern is simple enough to complete in a weekend and perfect for trips to the farmer's market or the beach.

The rounds of open crochet have short and long chain-space gaps, resembling written Morse code. And while it doesn't spell anything, it's still filled with the markings that make it a Dots and Dashes Market Bag.

The shape and the yarn give this tote lots of stretch, so if you find that it looks a little big for your needs, you can easily shorten the bag or strap.

    Head to the Market

Woman Carrying Dots and Dashes DIY Crochet Market Bag
    Mollie Johanson

Keep your finished bag with you for when you need a reusable shopping bag or carry your towel and sunscreen with you to the beach!

If you want to use this as a purse, you can also sew a simple liner with a round bottom and stitch it in place so nothing falls through the dots and dashes.
