How to Crochet Reusable Face Scrubbies
Why buy disposable cotton face rounds when you can crochet your own cotton face scrubbies? This free pattern shows you how to crochet a simple spa accessory that's as lovely as a lacy doily but as useful as the rounds you typically buy. Not only are these cost-efficient, but they're eco-friendly, too. Plus, isn't it more fun to wash your face with something that looks this pretty?
Because this is a small and easy pattern, it's a great way to practice a few basic crochet stitches and techniques. All you need to know is chain stitch, slip stitch, single crochet stitch, and half double crochet stitch. In less than an hour, you'll have an entire project finished.
You can make a whole stack of face scrubbies with a single skein of cotton yarn, or you can put your leftover lengths of yarn to use. And if you love these for your own use, why not make them as gifts, too?

Use Your Finished Face Scrubbie
These little rounds work up quickly and are enjoyable to work on. They're also a great way to use up the ends of skeins after crocheting dishcloths. Make a bunch of scrubbies so you have plenty on hand: use them as mini washcloths to clean your face in the morning or in place of disposable cotton rounds when removing makeup.
To clean, collect the used scrubbies in a mesh laundry bag and toss them in the wash.
These also make a great gift. Make your scrubbies all in one color or crochet a rainbow of them. Pair them with a nice bar of soap for a handmade mini spa gift.
