Values for Vintage & Collectible Christmas Jewelry

    Values updated 3/15

Christmas jewelry, with Christmas tree pins leading the way, has garnered the interest of more and more collectors over the past two decades. While much of the vintage Christmas jewelry collectors seek was made during the 1960s, holiday pieces made more recently are collectible as well and some of the contemporary pieces can be quite costly to acquire.

This guide will help you estimate values as well as identify and date...MORE them. Keep in mind that some contemporary Christmas pieces are made in the style of older jewelry, so looking for clues to age such as wear, stone quality and craftsmanship will help you distinguish old examples from newer items.

Values shown are based on Pamela Y. Wiggins' experience as a vintage costume jewelry dealer and collector, and most are based on past selling prices of the exact piece shown or very similar pieces.

Pamela Y. Wiggins is the author of Warman's Costume Jewelry (Krause Publications, 2014).

Ca. 1960s Weiss Christmas Tree Pin with Candles. - Photo by Jay B. Siegel

Vintage rhinestone Christmas tree pin marked "Weiss." The color of the candles in this pin are unique, since most vintage pieces use clear rhinestone candles.

Weiss Christmas tree pins are popular with collectors and some examples can be extremely pricey. The version shown here is similar to designs made by Hollycraft and Eisenberg, although the rhinestone placement and colors (especially the opal-like candles) make this one unique.
