Allison Cacich has been working in digital media since 2013. She started her career as Online Editor for the then brand new entertainment publication Closer Weekly. She later became Senior Digital Editor of Life & Style Weekly, overseeing all celebrity news, lifestyle, and fashion content. In 2018, Allison was named Digital Content Editor for the American Kennel Club, a trusted source among dog owners. During her time at the AKC, she spearheaded a massive SEO project about what dogs can and can't eat. When Allison joined Dotdash Meredith in 2020, her primary focus was the home vertical. She now leads performance marketing efforts in that space.
Education
Allison graduated cum laude from Wake Forest University, earning a Bachelor's in Communication with an emphasis on Media Studies and a minor in Journalism. During college, she co-ran the Wake Forest branch of Her Campus, a digital publication, and wrote for the student newspaper, Old Gold & Black. She interned for both Woman's Day Magazine and Wake Forest Magazine in her final year, and was a member of Mortar Board and the National Leadership Honor Society.
