Over the years, Lovely Indeed has been featured in Better Homes & Gardens, HGTV, Martha Stewart, and more. Through her blog, Chelsea has partnered with leading home and fashion brands like Target, West Elm, Old Navy, and HP.
Mollie Johanson is a professional freelance writer and has been crafting professionally for over 10 years. She is the author of Stitch Love: Sweet Creatures Big & Small, a collection of whimsical embroidery patterns. She is a regular contributor to several popular publications for makers, including Simply Sewing, Mollie Makes, and Australian Homespun. In addition to her published works, Mollie designs and sells embroidery patterns and stitching projects, co-hosts a podcast about crafting and has taught several online embroidery courses. Mollie has her Associate of Applied Science in Desktop Publishing from Elgin Community College.
Caylin Harris is a freelance writer, editor and crafter with over ten years experience in the lifestyle space. Prior to The Spruce, she was the lifestyle editor at Pioneer Woman, and also worked on staff at Good Housekeeping and Parents. She studied at New York University, and graduated with a degree in journalism.
Ginger is the Senior Editor for The Spruce, focusing on News. She joined the company in July 2020.
Previously she was the Senior Digital Editor at Family Circle, a now-defunct family magazine, focusing on helping mothers of teenagers navigate life's ups and downs a little more easily and with a lot more self-care.
Before that, Ginger worked at Microsoft as a homepage editor for MSN.com, one of the world's largest news portals. At Apple, Ginger worked on the communications team.
Ginger began her career in journalism as an editorial assistant at the Austin American-Statesman in Austin, Texas.
Caroline has 5+ years experience in pitching, writing, editing, and optimizing digital content across multiple verticals.
Before The Spruce, Caroline was the Assistant Editor at Food52, covering decor, cleaning, organizing, and other lifestyle topics. She began her career in media at Family Circle magazine, where she juggled print and digital content by curating market and expert-driven content covering home, lifestyle, and travel.
She earned a B.A. in English Creative Writing and Literature from Hofstra University.
Jamie is the Editorial Project Coordinator for The Spruce, Spruce Pets, and Spruce Crafts. Jamie is an organization pro, having worked in higher education for seven years before joining The Spruce.
Before joining The Spruce team, Jamie worked as a consultant with individuals and nonprofit organizations. Her work consisted of helping immigrants and first-generation high school students pursue higher education. As a multilingual writer and translator, she continues to aid underserved communities.
Emma is the Social Editor at The Spruce curating home and lifestyle content across Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and more. Prior to The Spruce she managed social media at Apartment Therapy, where she led their organic social initiatives and ran their social advertising campaigns. In addition to her work for Apartment Therapy, she has also written for PureWow, Spoon University, The Kitchn, and PUNCH.
She has 3+ years of experience in audience development and social media. She studied at Lafayette College and has a degree in International Affairs.
Margot is the photo producer for The Spruce, The Spruce Pets, and The Spruce Crafts. She spearheads photo shoots and the crafting of new original photography on all of The Spruce’s verticals.
Before joining DotDash, Margot worked as a freelance still life photographer for 12 years. She’s worked on campaigns with numerous brands such as Ralph Lauren, Club Monaco, Zoya, Garanimals, HelloFresh, to name a few. While working as a freelance photographer, Margot received experience in art directing, producing, and styling on top of her role as photographer.
Candace is a visual editor for The Spruce Home, Pets, and Crafts who joined the team in June 2019. As a visual editor, Candace manages a community of freelance photographers who contribute beautiful, original, and on-brand imagery to aid in The Spruce's aesthetic vision and storytelling. Candace is a photographer and photo art director with over six years of experience in the visual world.
